Setting quotas
A quota cell caps how many respondents can land in a given segment — once its target is reached, fieldwork stops collecting for that segment automatically. If you leave the quota table empty, fieldwork just runs unsegmented against your overall target.
Anatomy of a quota cell
Each row in the quota table is one segment: one or more Variables (a Question paired with one of its Categories), and a Target sample size for that combination. Add more than one variable to a cell to combine dimensions — for example Gender = Female and Age = 18–24 as a single segment. Progress is tracked live as "completes / started" against the target.
Setting it up

Add the questions
In the Questionnaire builder, make sure every dimension you want to quota on (e.g. Gender, Age) exists as a Single or Multi question.

Add a quota cell
In Quota, add a cell and add a Variable for each dimension: pick the question, then pick the specific answer option that defines this segment.

Set the target
Give the cell a target sample size. Repeat for every segment combination you need — one cell per gender, or one cell per gender × age pair, for instance.
